Dear Friends,
On this Giving Tuesday, I want to take a moment to reflect on the power of gratitude—a value deeply rooted in Jewish tradition. The Hebrew word for Jew, Yehudi, comes from the same root as hoda’ah, meaning “thanks.” Expressing gratitude is not only a cornerstone of who we are but also a catalyst for action that brings meaning to our lives.
Please, show your gratitude in a gift today that will benefit a man in the near future.
At the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs (FJMC), we strive to embody this value by creating spaces and programs that nurture men and their families. Together, we’ve built initiatives that guide men toward meaningful actions, fostering community, leadership, and emotional well-being.
This year, your support can help us strengthen two of our most impactful programs:
- Jewish Dad’s Support Groups: Parenting is a blessing, but it comes with its challenges. Our support groups offer Jewish dads a space to connect, share their struggles, and build a supportive community grounded in Jewish values.
- Leadership Development Institute: In a time when integrity and accountability are more important than ever, this program equips men with the skills and confidence to lead with purpose and trust—in their families, communities, and beyond.
Gratitude is not just about saying “thank you.” It’s about turning that feeling into meaningful actions that ripple outward, making a tangible difference in the world. By contributing to FJMC this Giving Tuesday, you are doing just that: showing your gratitude by helping us continue to inspire, guide, and strengthen Jewish men across the globe.
Thank you for being a part of our FJMC family and for all the ways you already bring meaning and gratitude to the world. Together, let’s continue this sacred work.
With heartfelt thanks,
Alan Budman
